Quotes and Wisdom

I've always loved old sayings, or "refranes".

They have such a witty understanding of life.

And I also like quotes. Those that make me think. Those that make me question life.

Today I want to share one with you.

"Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal." (Henry Ford)

...I want to keep this in mind...

Do you have one that you like?

Well, hello! It has been a while, hasn't it?

How about showing you lots of sales and promotions for a come-back treat, hah?

I am part of a team called "Etsy in Spanish." We are basically a group of artisans, designers, and artists on Etsy that speak Spanish. We came together to support our efforts and have a stronger presence online.

This group has different venues going on. One of them is our blog which our team member Lolo Sinclair (from Lolos @ Etsy ) administers. There you will find a list of all of us, our stores that is, so you can browse around and see what we offer.

Meanwhile, take a look at all the deals we have for this weekend, from Thursday 4th to Sunday 10th. Some have free shipping, 25% off, 50% off or even a free gift with your purchase.

I am offering free shipping on some items. So stop by and let me know what you think.
Check them out @ my store.

Love always,
Anabel :)

2. Silk flowers bouquet, from Patkas

Searching for something appropriate for Thanksgiving day, I've found these beauties that I hope you enjoy.

It is just my teenie tiny little way of saying thanks to you. It doesn't matter where you live, or whether you celebrate this holiday or not, for as being grateful for our blessings knows nothing about our differences.

So, thank you for being there. Thank you for following. And thank you for all your comments; they help me to keep going.

by another language.
I don’t know what to say about what I paint, really."

An existentialist questions...

No, it's not the infamous
"He loves me, he loves me not."

There are some many questions and doubts lingering in my head. So many what-ifs, so many unclear answers, so many "not- me's."

And the questions might never get a straight response. But here it goes:

What is an artist?
What makes an artist?
Who defines that?
